WILLEMSTAD — The Coast Guard for the Kingdom of the Netherlands in the Caribbean will celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2026, marking three decades of maritime security operations across the region.
A special committee has been established to coordinate commemorative activities across all Kingdom countries. Public events, media outreach, and open days are planned to highlight the Coast Guard’s role in safety, law enforcement, and disaster response.
Officials say the anniversary will also serve as a moment of reflection on the organization’s evolving mission amid changing security and geopolitical challenges.
