WILLEMSTAD - Last Wednesday the RCC received a call that a crew member aboard Mechanil Bay had become unwell.
The CITRO was immediately informed and sent a doctor who flew with the coastguard helicopter to provide medical assistance to the patient. Mechanil Bay is located north of Aruba.
The coast guard helicopter hoisted the patient upon arrival and transported him to HATO where an ambulance was ready for transport to the hospital.
