WILLEMSTAD - The Meteorological Service Curaçao (Meteo) has issued code yellow for next Thursday for a tropical storm that is approaching Curaçao.
The 'tropical wave' is currently on the Atlantic Ocean and is moving in a westerly direction. The Meteo predicts a 70 percent chance that it will develop into a cyclone in the next five days. The storm will reach Curaçao in the night from Wednesday to Thursday. This is expected to affect the wind, sea and precipitation.
