WILLEMSTAD - Today, the college of kingdom supervisors (“College van Koninkrijkstoezichthouders”), consisting of the presidents of the three central banks of the Kingdom and the chair of the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM), reinitiated their consultations during a virtual meeting. Since the working areas of the four Kingdom Supervisors overlap each other, a more structural and formal cooperation is desirable. The latter would be aimed at streamlining the supervision and establishing common guidelines. During today’s meeting, the organization of the supervision of common institutions, the upcoming FATF assessments and correspondent banking were among the topics that were addressed.

Richard Doornbosch (CBCS president), Laura van Geest (AFM chair), Klaas Knot (DNB president), and Jane Semeleer (CBA president) participated in today’s meeting. Jeroen Gevaert (AFM), Richard Hoff (DNB), Prakash Mungra (CBA), and Arnoud Vossen (CBCS), joined as observers.
