WILLEMSTAD - On Monday 17 June the commander of the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee Brigade Caribbean, Lieutenant Colonel Hans Vroegh and his successor Lieutenant Colonel Roland Scheltes paid a visit to the Governor of Curaçao, Her Excellency Lucille George-Wout.
From June 20, Lieutenant Colonel Scheltes will take command of the brigade. The Royal Netherlands Marechaussee supports the local police forces of the Caribbean countries, works closely with the coast guard and is responsible for the border police task on the BES islands.
