WILLEMSTAD - On Wednesday 20 April, Mrs. Omayra Leeflang, chairman Kura di Arte, and Mrs. Anja van Bergen, on behalf of the Culture of Peace Committee (Komite Kultura di Pas), paid a visit to the Governor of Curaçao, Her Excellency Lucille George-Wout. The aim of the Committee is to promote the culture of peace in general, in the context of the commemoration of the dead and the celebration of peace on 4 and 5 May, in particular on 5 May during the Mesa di Pas (peace meal).
During the visit, discussions were held about how the Committee will implement this this year by organizing table discussions about peace between various people in society.
