WILLEMSTAD - A delegation from the opposition party MFK visited representatives of the Chinese community in Curaçao this week. The party wants to become aware of possible pain points in society that stand in the way of a growth of the economy.
According to representatives of the "Chinese Business Association", Chinese entrepreneurs in Curaçao always run into the same problems: armed robberies, inspections by government organizations that do not follow the rules and a slow immigration service that often issues permits too late.
The MFK has indicated that it wants to tackle the problem areas. And will come up with solutions in its action program for the period between 2021 and 2025, the party has indicated.
