WILLEMSTAD - The musician association AMAK is sounding the alarm. Since the corona crisis, many restaurants have stopped live music, so that the income of many musicians has completely disappeared.
About 2,000 musicians live in Curaçao, 300 of which are paying members of the AMAK organization. The musicians suffer a loss of 50 thousand guilders per month, the prospects are very poor. Interest organization AMAK says it has no means to help its members.
