WILLEMSTAD - A was announced before, Member of Parliament Jacinta Constancia returns her parliament seat to the opposition party MFK. Constancia announced this in a press release. She had previously announced that she will not return after the election.
Now she says she wants to leave earlier. Constancia has been active in politics for the past 18 years. She was Minister of Health between 2010 and 2012, but was later convicted of fraud and has to pay back more than three hundred thousand guilders. She is now paying that debt monthly. She has indicated that she wants to work on a new income when she steps down as a parliamentarian.
