WILLEMSTAD - According to the Member of Parliament for the opposition party MFK, Charles Cooper, the chairman of the taxi committee is corrupt.
Cooper states that the entire organization must go through a rigorous clean up and reorganization, because the law regarding permits is being violated. These would be given to friends instead of people whose turn it is to receive one.
Cooper, himself former Minister of Traffic and Transport, proposes to transfer all the taxi permits to ABC Bus Company for the next 10 to 15 years.
