Copa Airlines resumes operations to Curaçao in June

Local | By Correspondent May 12, 2021

PANAMA CITY, WILLEMSTAD - The resumption of Copa flights to Curaçao, from Panama, is scheduled for June 5 and will initially have two weekly flights. As a result, the Curaçao Tourist Board will hold two online chats, on May 14 and 21, to update Brazilian travel agents about the return of flights. The meetings will also show some news in the pre-boarding protocols for those traveling to Curaçao, the Dushi Stay app, among other subjects.

“The Brazilian market is very important for Curaçao. Even without a direct flight, the Brazilian already visited our destination a lot to get to know our beaches, culture and our people. We are already homesick and our country is waiting for everyone soon,” says André Rojer, regional manager of the Curaçao Tourist Board for South America.

Janaina Araujo, Curaçao's representative in Brazil reinforced: “We are very happy with the resumption and we are sure that Curacao is on the Brazilian's radar. The island is a complete destination that caters for all tastes of the Brazilian family and is ready. During this period, it was well prepared to receive tourists.”

The first event on the Zoom platform will take place on May 14, at 10 am, and will focus on updating the aerial network of arrivals and departures for Copa flights. The meeting on Friday (21) will also be at 10am.
