WILLEMSTAD - Dive center Scubaçao is looking for the person who moved and damaged several coral restorations. In 2018, Scubaçao became a partner of Reef Renewal Curaçao and more than 600 staghorn coral trees were planted on the reef at Marie Pampoen.
Several colonies have grown from this, which in turn attracted many fish. The diving school says it is deeply saddened that all the coral trees that have been planted have been moved or damaged.
Scubaçao calls on anyone who has seen something or knows who did this to get in touch.
