WILLEMSTAD - The now Independent Member of Parliament Jaime Cordoba is busy with several political parties. Cordoba was the sole parliamentarian for the party of former popular politician Helmin Wiels, the Pueblo Soberano. He left the party last Friday.
According to sources he is talking to, among others, the party PAN of Amado "Brother" Rojer. This confirms that conversations are being held. But Cordoba is also said to have consulted with Kòrsou di Nos Tur headed by businessman Amparo dos Santos and Movementu Progresivo from Member of Parliament Marilyn Moses. Cordoba was a member of Pueblo Soberano for 11 years. He says he no longer agrees with the way in which the party is run.
