WILLEMSTAD - The number of corona infections in Curaçao decreased last week. There are also no more corona patients in hospital intensive care.
Four people with Covid-19 have been admitted to the Curaçao Medical Center (CMC). None of them receive intensive care. Two patients in the CMC died last week from the effects of the virus. Since the start of the pandemic, there have been 273 corona deaths.
A total of 2,598 tests were administered. 317 people tested positive. Three infections were later found to be incorrect; this has been adjusted in the figures. 453 people were allowed out of isolation, bringing the total number of infections to 442. On April 15, the number of active cases stood at 581.
