WILLEMSTAD – During its meeting of December 3, 2025, the Council of Ministers approved the renewal of Curaçao’s agreement with the Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC), reinforcing the country’s continued participation in the regional examination system.
According to the decisions published on December 5, 2025, the renewed “Purchase Agreement” between Curaçao and CXC will be valid for a period of three years. The agreement ensures the continued provision of CXC examinations, which play a key role in secondary education across the Caribbean.
The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport has been authorized by the Council of Ministers to sign the agreement on behalf of the country.
The renewal confirms Curaçao’s commitment to maintaining internationally recognized academic standards and supporting students’ access to regional and global educational opportunities.
