WILLEMSTAD - The Ministry of Traffic, Transport and Spatial Planning (VVRP) and the Curaçao Tourist Board (CTB) will offer courses for employees in public transport.
The courses will be taught by the Inter Continental University of the Caribbean (ICUC). In this way, the knowledge and service in public transport must be improved. Several certificates are offered, including a course for anyone who wants to work in passenger transport for the first time, a course for auxiliary drivers and one for obtaining a taxi license.
The cost for the entry-level course is 650 guilders, the course for auxiliary drivers costs 575 guilders and the taxi permit can be obtained for 250 guilders. Those interested can register for the courses via the government website.
