WILLEMSTAD - The agreement was signed by Mr. Humberto de Castro (CEO at CPA) and Mr. Gabriel Rodriguez Pereyra (CEO at Sans Souci). Furthermore, Mr. Raul Manotas (CCO at CPA) and Mrs. Sharon Mei (Commercial Director at Sans Souci) co-signed the agreement witnessed by Mr. Carlos Faulkner (Operations Director Sans Souci).
The Sister Port Agreement initiates a cooperation that facilitates the exchange of information pertaining to the cargo and cruise industries in each port. The exchange of information includes also historical statistical data, planned seaport infrastructure developments and general marketing research. In addition, the agreement stipulates that parties will study the possibility of increasing maritime traffic in both ports, work towards educational exchange visits, promote the relationship and advantages of doing business at both ports and consider mutual participation in port-related conventions.
The signing of the agreement fits in with the strategy of CPA to fortify alliances with other ports of strategic value.
