WILLEMSTAD - The Curaçao Restaurant Association (CRA) wants to have musicians provide background music in the restaurants. This is in compliance with a strict protocol that the Curaçao Music and Artist Association (AMAK) has already put forward.
A condition for CRA will be that restaurants can close one hour later, so that they have enough time to cover the costs of the musicians. For example, AMAK and CRA think that musicians can earn money with their work for the first time in seven months.
