CARACAS - Crude oil production in Venezuela has fallen to around 500,000 barrels per day. PdVSA has operational problems and the American oil sanctions have exacerbated that.
The American market is traditionally the largest destination for Venezuelan crude oil.
The export that is now being released mainly goes to India and China.
