WILLEMSTAD - Garret Garricks, 35, was arrested by police on Wednesday. The man is suspected of murder. On March 25 he is said to have shot a man in the Cubaguaweg. This is reported by the police.
The arrest took place in the Kaya Florin in Souax. A search was also carried out there. The police confiscated a firearm. The police also found other items of importance for the investigation.
The suspect has been brought before an assistant public prosecutor and is behind bars pending further investigation.
