Curaçao against Mexico and El Salvador in Gold Cup 2021

MIAMI - Curaçao will take on group head Mexico and El Salvador in the Gold Cup 2021. The draw for the soccer tournament took place last night in Miami, United States.

The Concacaf Gold Cup 2021 consists of 16 national selections. Curaçao is in group A and therefore takes on Mexico and El Salvador. A fourth selection will be announced at a later date.

The 2021 Concacaf Gold Cup, the football championship of North and Central America and the Caribbean, is the sixteenth edition.

The tournament starts on July 2, 2021 with the preliminary rounds in which 12 countries compete for a place in the main tournament. Curaçao has already been placed. The games were to take place between July 2 and July 24, 2021. Because the qualifying tournament has yet to be played in that same month, it was postponed to July 10 to August 1, 2021.
