WILLEMSTAD - According to Prime Minister Eugene Rhuggenaath, Curaçao has not yet received a budgetary instruction because it is now also clear in the Netherlands that the crisis in Venezuela has a major impact on the financial, economic and social situation in Curaçao.
Rhuggenaath said that yesterday during a press conference, in which he also indicated that an instruction is not on the table, but that Curaçao does have more time to work on a plan together with the Netherlands.
The purpose of that plan is, on the one hand, to partly eliminate deficits, but also to invest in the further development of Curaçao.
