WILLEMSTAD - This year, once again, Curaçao Clean Up recognized participants who made an outstanding contribution during the world’s largest clean-up initiative — World Clean Up Day 2025.

Among the groups that stood out this year was the band One Flavaz, led by Dibo D. The band not only participated actively in the clean-up event but also produced a short film to raise public awareness about keeping our island clean — a video that went viral and reached thousands of viewers. As a token of appreciation, Irie Tours awarded the group with a trip to Klein Curaçao.
Another group recognized for their creativity and effort was the girl scouts of Zeeverkenners. They were among the few groups who fully embraced this year’s Superhero theme, an idea initiated by two of their members. In appreciation of their enthusiasm, The Movies rewarded the Zeeverkenners group with free movie tickets.

This year, Curaçao Clean Up also decided to highlight companies with heavy-duty equipment that generously provide assistance during the annual clean-up. The company recognized in this category was Godart Services, which every year makes its pickups available and helps collect and transport full garbage bags from the roadsides to the landfill. Pizza Hut presented the award to Godart Services for their continued contribution.
Curaçao Clean Up once again extends its sincere gratitude to all participants and sponsors who supported the world’s largest clean-up action — World Clean Up Day 2025.
