WILLEMSTAD - Whether there will be a budgetary instruction from the Kingdom Council of Ministers or not, Curaçao will continue on the chosen path. This is according to the Prime Minister of Curaçao Eugene Rhuggenaath.
That path has been laid down in an agreement with the Netherlands on the Growth Strategy. Next week, the Prime Minister and the Minister of Finance will be guests at the Kingdom Council of Ministers. This will be on June 14.
The Kingdom Council of Ministers will decide if there should be indeed a budgetary instruction given to the government of Curaçao because of the deficit. This was advised by the Financial Supervision Board.
