Curaçao gets medical clinic for the uninsured
WILLEMSTAD - Curaçao has a new clinic. Just beyond the Zuikertuintje roundabout, the Salú pa Nos Tur foundation (Health for us all) opens their doors to people who have no insurance.
The clinic will offer first-line care, especially to Venezuelans who are staying illegally in Curaçao. The initiative comes from Elisa Janszen, a doctor who works at the St. Elizabeth Hospital (SEHOS).
She says that the group of undocumented Venezuelans does not have access to care because they cannot afford it.
