WILLEMSTAD - Curaçao has a government debt of just over 4.2 billion guilders at the end of the first quarter of this year. The Financial Supervision Board reports this in response to the first implementation report of this year.
Compared to the end of 2021, the debt has decreased by thirty million guilders. The balance of the long-term debts decreased by eighteen million guilders. The balance of the current liabilities by twelve million.
The debt-to-GDP ratio will be 78 percent of gross domestic product at the end of March this year.
