WILLEMSTAD - 32 foreigners made the declaration of solidarity before the Governor of Curaçao this week. During the naturalization ceremonies, they received Dutch citizenship from the Governor of Curaçao.
The 32 are approximately the same as last year when 34 people received a Dutch passport. In 2019 there were still 199.
You can become a Dutch citizen in two ways: via an option procedure, for example if you have lived in the Kingdom for a long time, or via a naturalization procedure.
