WILLEMSTAD - Curaçao finally has Imax. The first theater was opened last week at the Movies in Punda.
This required a lot of renovation to make the screen fit, the roof had to be raised nearly five meters. The screen is almost twenty meters wide. In July, the screen was installed along with the projector.
The projector weighs almost a ton. With Imax, The Movies promises visitors the ultimate cinema experience.
