Curaçao lifts travel bubble between CAS and BES islands

Local | By Correspondent August 26, 2021

WILLEMSTAD - Curaçao has ended the travel bubble with the six islands of Aruba, Saba, Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Sint Maarten. That was announced this afternoon during the Report of the Day.

Curaçao is lifting the travel bubble after the rising number of corona infections on the islands. Travelers to Curaçao must take a PCR test up to 48 hours before departure, regardless of whether they are vaccinated or not.

Bonaire also announced this week that it would temporarily step out of the travel bubble with Aruba and Curaçao. Travelers to Bonaire must present a negative PCR test and complete a health declaration. Non-vaccinated persons must take another antigen test on arrival, unless they have taken a PCR test within 24 hours before departure.
