WILLEMSTAD - The Curaçao Lions Club is preparing to launch a new edition of its Bon Bisiña Project, the largest food-assistance initiative on the island and a cornerstone of community support for nearly 60 years.
Many families on Curaçao continue to face serious financial hardship, and the Lions Club plays a vital role in helping those most in need. Every school day, throughout the entire year, the organization provides breakfast to more than 1,400 children at various schools across the island.
To continue this essential work, the Lions Club will collect food donations this weekend—December 5, 6 and 7—at the Van den Tweel and Vreugdenhil supermarkets.
The organization calls on the community to contribute by purchasing food items to donate or by giving financial support. “Together, we can give these families a better Christmas,” the club stated.
Lions roaring strong for 80 years; Lions leading forward.
