WILLEMSTAD - The Curaçao Medical Center (CMC) has announced the distribution plan for the 3 million guilders. This amount, intended as compensation for the working conditions of staff, will be evenly divided among all eligible employees.
The exact payout per employee will be determined on January 1 and will be announced no later than January 15. Any changes in the number of employees as of December 31 will be taken into account. Employees who have only worked part of the year will receive their compensation on a pro-rated basis.
In its message to staff, CMC emphasized that this additional contribution is a temporary measure, available only from 2025 to 2028. The arrangement applies to the hospital’s staff and care personnel, excluding medical specialists and other top executives.
The payment of the compensation will be processed with the salary round at the end of January, provided that the government transfers the 3 million guilders on time.
