Curaçao puts the Netherlands on yellow: now a low-risk country

Local | By Correspondent June 29, 2021

WILLEMSTAD - The Curaçao government amended the country list yesterday and the Netherlands is now one of the low-risk countries. This means that vaccinated residents who fly back to Curaçao from the Netherlands no longer have to take a PCR test and antigen test.

The rules remain unchanged for tourists and unvaccinated residents. They need a negative PCR test (maximum 72 hours before departure) or antigen test (maximum 24 hours before departure) to enter the island.

They also have to take an antigen test three days after arrival on the island. Proof and payment of the appointment for this test must be uploaded when completing the Passenger Locator Carc (PLC) before departure.

Fully vaccinated residents therefore no longer need to be tested when returning to Curaçao. However, they must have the vaccination certificate with them during the trip and have completed the PLC in advance.

The new country list can be found at gobiernu.cw.
