WILLEMSTAD - The Recycling Championships 2022 started on Tuesday. The competition is a collaboration between Federashon Futball Kòrsou (FFK), Select Automotive and Coca-Cola.
From November 1 to December 22, all football clubs are encouraged to collect as many PET bottles, cleaning packaging and aluminum cans as possible. The participants can deliver these to the recycling organization Green Phenix in Zeelandia. All kilos per club are registered there. For every ten kilos, the clubs receive a ticket, with which they can win one of fifteen cash prizes of 250 guilders.
The club that collects the most kilos will receive 1,000 guilders as the main prize, this money must be invested in the club.
