WILLEMSTAD, CARACAS - A group of about fifty residents are stranded in Venezuela. This was confirmed by the Curaçao Tourist Board (CTB). According to the CTB these are residents of Curaçao, but with a Venezuelan passport.
The CTB indicated that these people are allowed to enter Curaçao, but Venezuela does not cooperate. The CTB is working with the Foreign Relations Service on their return, but it is not clear why the Venezuelan authorities have not yet let the group leave.
