WILLEMSTAD - The Curacao soccer selection is leaving for Thailand at the end of May. There the Remko Bicentini team plays a tournament for the King’s Cup between June 5 and 8.
The matches are in preparation for the Gold Cup later that month. Four countries are participating in the tournament: Curaçao, host country Thailand, India and Vietnam. These countries are on the FIFA world list at position 100.
Curaçao is ranked highest with position 82. The Curaçao national team will play the first match for the Gold Cup 2019 in Jamaica against El Salvador on June 17.
