WILLEMSTAD, THE HAGUE - Curaçao wants to conclude aviation agreements with the Czech Republic and the state of Kuwait. This is evident from documents that Foreign Minister Stef Blok sent to the Second Chamber of the Dutch Parliament and - for the benefit of the Curaçao Parliament - to Governor Lucille George-Wout.
It concerns two aviation treaties between the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the aforementioned countries, but that only applies to Curaçao. The idea is to promote trade, tourism and investment through so-called "open skies with the greatest possible operational commercial freedom for airlines."
