WILLEMSTAD - Curaçao has won its first match for the King’s Cup in Thailand. Remko Bicentini's team beat India 3-1 last night.
Roly Bonevacia, Elson Hooi and Leandro Bacuna scored for Curaçao. The competitions are in preparation for the Gold Cup later this month. Curaçao still has to meet host country Thailand and Vietnam.
The Curaçao national team will play the first match for the Gold Cup 2019 in Jamaica against El Salvador on 17 June.
