THE HAGUE - A Curaçao citizen was convicted in Rotterdam this week for selling ammunition to a terrorist organization.
He must go to jail for 30 months after deduction of custody. The terrorist organization IS wanted to use the ammunition during the European Championship in France. The ammunition for that was supplied by the 30-year-old Curaçao resident.
It was not proven beyond a reasonable doubt that he knew about the attack, that is why his sentence was lower.
