WILLEMSTAD - The bankruptcy trustee officially makes a call to creditors of construction company Curcon to report. That can be read in an advertisement in various newspapers.
Last week it was announced that Curcon and Bouwmaatschappij Bonaire have filed for bankruptcy. The immediate reason would be a large construction project on Bonaire that yielded considerably less money.
For years, Curcon was regarded as one of the largest builders in Curaçao. The fact that they themselves have filed for bankruptcy may indicate that there will be a restart.
