Curfew Curaçao now from 3.00 am to 4.30 am

WILLEMSTAD - The curfew in Curaçao has been relaxed from 3:00 am to 4:30 am. Restaurants, shops, and entertainment venues will be allowed to reopen according to permit times if curfews are taken into account. Previously, the curfew was from 1 a.m. to 4:30 a.m.

“The nightlife is an important source of income and keeps the economy going,” says Prime Minister Gilmar Pisas. The Prime Minister emphasizes that it is important that people are rewarded if they adhere to the rules. “If everything continues to go well, the curfew can be lifted completely in December.”

 

Public transport is allowed until 3:00 am. Truk'i pans(BBQ trucks) are allowed to open again at normal times but must close at 02:00. Vital professions are exempted from the curfew.
