WILLEMSTAD - The Curaçao military (Curmil) supports the police in enforcing the curfew and the plachi di dia (license plate of the day). They were also present last weekend during the traffic checks.
Curmil indicates that many people adhered to the rules or had their exemption papers in order to be allowed on the road. Yet there were also various drivers at the roadblocks against whom the police and Curmil had to take action. The number of violations of the measures last weekend has not yet been announced by the police.
