WILLEMSTAD - The deadline for the parliamentary inquiry into Hospital Nobo Otrobanda (HNO) is being postponed. The deadline expires on September 19 and can be extended at the request of Parliament, President Ana Maria Pauletta explained.

Early last year, Parliament agreed to a parliamentary inquiry into the additional costs associated with the construction of the HNO. The new hospital was previously known as HNO, nowadays as Curaçao Medical Center (CMC)

Pauletta says the chairman of the committee preparing for the survey, Gisette Seferina, sat with the clerk last week to schedule a meeting of the HNO committee and internal committee.

According to Pauletta, the survey was delayed because committee meetings were canceled due to the corona crisis.
