WILLEMSTAD - The Curaçao Admissions Organization (immigration) can no longer handle the incoming immigration applications within the legally set term. The department announced this in a press release. Partly due to a major staff shortage, applicants do not receive a response to their application within the regular period of four months.
The admissions organization asks for patience and reminds applicants that the automatic response after submission also serves as proof of application.
Applicants can check their status through the website www.immigration.com/dep/status.
