WILLEMSTAD - The Curaçao Medical Center (CMC) has forcibly removed a detainee who was treated in hospital this week. The person is said to have suddenly behaved aggressively and insulted the medical staff.
According to the Justice Department, the man had to be removed from the hospital by force. The detainee has been returned to the SDKK prison.
The prison management strongly disapproves of the incident and the detainee's behavior and has apologized for the incident.
The ministry has launched an investigation into the incident.
