Local | By Correspondent December 24, 2021

WILLEMSTAD - The liter rate for diesel will decrease by 17 cents to 1.71 guilders as of December 28. Gasoline will also be cheaper. From Tuesday, gasoline users will pay almost 6 cents less for a liter, namely 2,314 guilders. This was announced by the price regulator Bureau Telecommunication and Post (BT&P).

The price of propane gas is also going down. Consumers pay 80 guilders for a big cylinder. That is a price difference of 5 guilders. The price of a small gas cylinder decreases by one guilder from 17 to 16 guilders. The tariff decrease is caused by the lower purchase prices.

Tap water is almost 3 cents more expensive. Households pay 13.6363 guilders per cubic meter for consumption between 9 and 12 cubic meters.
