WILLEMSTAD - The two divers who died during underwater work on Monday were from Venezuela.
The divers worked for Damen Shiprepairs at the B dock and were employed by Curaçao Industrial Diving. The cause of the accident is still unknown.
The Labor Inspectorate of the Ministry of Social Development, Labor and Welfare is conducting an investigation into the incident.
The two reportedly dived with scuba equipment, which would violate industrial diving rules.
