WILLEMSTAD - The General Pension Fund of Curaçao (APC) gave the go-ahead for the creation of new plots in Brakkeput Noord yesterday afternoon. APC did this symbolically by splitting the first piece of land.
The kick-off happened in a different way than usual. The directors of APC, Evelyn Kruithof-Bor and Ramiro Griffith, together with ministers Ruthmilda Larmonie-Cecilia, Charles Cooper and Javier Silvania symbolically pressed the "detonator" (see photo). A system created by Gustavo Semeleer initiated the splitting of the plots.
165 plots will become available in the 'plot division' project. Three of them will be used for the construction of apartments. The other plots will have a size of 750 m2 on which homes will be built.
According to APC, the demand for the plots is high.
