WILLEMSTAD - General practitioners' association (CHV) is not very happy with the Social Insurance Bank (SVB). The SVB wants every doctor to only have 2500 patients.
That number is not the problem, but the conditions that SVB sets for providing care in the practice of a doctor. With this measure, the doctor can no longer provide specific care for, for example, the detection, treatment and monitoring of diabetes.
According to the doctors, the SVB measure is only intended to protect its own budget.
