WILLEMSTAD - Dolphin Suites & Wellness Hotel is building, in addition to the 21 existing suites and rooms, 38 new accommodation types. With a waving flag and a glass of beer, they celebrated that the highest point of this new building has been reached.
“We are expanding the hotel with 4-person suites and 2-person rooms. Of these, 14 can be connected to each other to create 6-person apartments. All wheelchair accessible, just like the existing hotel. The adjustments in the hotel come together beautifully with the attractive decor. This ensures that guests without disabilities also feel at home. High-end interior specialist TKI Interior Design and the Interior Group from the Netherlands help us with this,” said the owners of the hotel in a press release.
Progress of phase 2
They only used high quality materials and apply environmentally friendly systems. Construction started in June 2021 with LB Construction as contractor. MIC Consultancy is the architect of this new building. The installation will start in January 2023. “We hope to welcome the first guests in the new rooms in April.”
Expansion of facilities
The new lobby will be a nice space to get together. The combination of a restaurant and a cozy coffee bar is a valuable addition. In addition, there will be 3 rentable business spaces, a yoga terrace, a fitness and a separate therapy room. The tropical gardens with lounge areas and a children's playground connect phase 1 and 2 of the hotel.
