WILLEMSTAD - On Tuesday, May 28, a delegation from the Red Cross Curaçao visited the Governor of Curaçao for a donation. The month of May was the collection month for the Red Cross Curaçao.
This year the aim was to be able to purchase new disaster material with the fundraising and donations and to generate reserves for the recovery process of the Post Suffisant rescue facility.
The Red Cross Curaçao is known for its humanitarian tasks in the field of disaster relief and assistance during social events. To be able to provide for its activities, it is solely dependent on donations and fundraising.
